Signed by the author. An insightful history to one of Litchfield County's treasures. In 1868 the Webster family buys farmland south of Litchfield, naming it “Arethusa” after a rare orchid that grew on the property. Today it is owned by George Malkemus and Anthony Yurgaitis who have expanded the farms and whose dairy supplies Bantam's Arethusa Creamery.
